Two types of LPA:
Health and Welfare
If you are finding it increasingly difficult to get to the bank or to manage your day to day affairs, then a Property and Finance LPA makes it clear who has your authority to handle things for you and exactly what this authority covers.
If you become disabled through illness or an accident, have someone you trust ready to act and make important decisions on your behalf.
If you become ill and are unable to communicate, a Health and Welfare LPA appoints a person you trust to speak as if they were you.
We make it as easy for you as possible by discussing your options and reviewing your needs and agreeing what will fit well into your applications. Your completed LPA applications are submitted to be registered with the Office of the Public Guardian (OPG). The OPG charges their own fees for registering your applications (£82 per LPA).
A Safety Net - may not seem necessary, but makes a big difference when needed.
You can appoint different attorneys so certain persons manage your Property and Financial affairs, while others if you wish consider your Health and Welfare.
Prepare separate Powers of Attorney so the right people can manage your property and business affairs while Health and Welfare matters including medical treatment are considered.
