I am Edward Briscoe and live between Marlow and Henley.
I help people with Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
Wills:
My aim is to enable you to make Deeds that are robust so your successors inherit more than they otherwise would.
I recommend appointing Lay Representatives who choose professionals when they are needed and not when making your Will; 20 years before you pass on.
Wills should be stored at the Probate Office in London (used to be Somerset House). This is neutral territory costs £20 to deposit and is free to withdraw.
I issue the envelopes and instructions enabling you to do this and provide copies of your Will both in print and pdf.
Your children, successors and charities should benefit from the above.
Wills and LPAs:
My standard service includes two home meetings the first to gather information and the latter to supervise the making of Wills
and/or, for LPAs, applications for the Office of the Public Guardian to register your Attorneys.
In between reports, attendance notes and drafts pass to and forth until finals are agreed.
Your Deeds are then less likely to be challenged by others.

£250 per person.
(OPG registration fees, £82 per LPA, are extra).
If you prefer to handle things yourself and through this website, but would like support at the end of the phone, this is offered for one fee of £100.
There will be the option to upgrade to the full service (for just the £150 difference).
